La zona de adminstración tiene visuales hacia el juego del tinquete. La galería colgada que se construye rememora la "galería larga" del trinquete/The administration area has views over the trinquete court. The hanging gallery recalls the "long gallery" of the trinquete court. | ||
| Los juegos de
pelota, son deportes cuyo origen es la calle y la plaza.
La idea que rige esta propuesta, construye calles y plazas que se relacionan con otras calles en las que se realiza el juego. Se resuelven dos tipos de espacios de relación pública: Y aquellos como el centro social y el restaurante de la planta superior, de concepción flexible para adaptarse a distintos tipos de evento social y cultural. El tono defensivo de los muros de cerramiento desde el exterior contrasta con la introducción de la naturaleza a través de los patios que desde el SO penetran hasta la calle central y el hall. La idea de ambientación de las calles y plazas como lugares en los que se entrecruzan circulaciones y actividades se refuerza introduciendo la vegetación y arbolado en los extremos y en el punto medio, unas veces en espacios exteriores y otras en plazoletas en el interior. La cubierta es un elemento unificador que recoge todo el conjunto, tanto de espacios cerrados como de espacios exteriores. |
Ball
games began in streets and squares.
The idea behind this proposal is to build streets and squares that are related to other streets in which pilota is played. It provides two types of public meeting places: Those that are result of circulation areas in the form of streets and squares that enhance the urban structure of the building. These provide a space for social activities in connection with the sports world. They are spaces such as the cafeteria and the hall, which take the form of a small square connected to another covered one outside. And those such as the social centre and restaurant on the upper floor, which are flexibly designed to adapt to different types of social and cultural event. The defensive tone of the walls seen from the exterior contrasts with the natural world that is brought into the courtyards that penetrate from the SW as far as the central street and the hall. The idea of giving the streets and squares the atmosphere of places where circulation routes and activities interweave is reinforced by placing trees and plants at each end and at the midway point, sometimes in exterior spaces and at other times in small squares in the interior. The roof is a unifying element that gathers the whole together, both enclosed spaces and exterior spaces. |
