La estructura lo ordena todo: el edificio se convierte en un contenedor en el que la correcta disposición de cajas de escaleras y ascensores, aseos, servicios y estructura portante sustenta una división de espacios que lo jerarquiza todo. Todo cabe puesto que el carácter no viene dado por sus usos, móviles y temporales, sino por los elementos inamovibles y permanentes: su carácter, sus estructuras verticales y horizontales, sus comunicaciones entre espacios y niveles.

El bloque de acceso se diferencia por su volumen y su materia, y se exhibe como el recibidor, la zona de contacto y recepción. Se abre en él al exterior un espacio previo de acceso que recoge escaleras y rampas para luego acceder al interior del edificio en un gran vestíbulo que sirve de espacio semiexterior, visible desde todo el edificio y que desde él todo es visible. Allí llegan los principales elementos de conexión al resto del edificio.

A partir de él, se configura a través de los dos volúmenes predominantes del edificio y perpendiculares a este bloque de acceso. Las cajas de comunicaciones verticales se encajan en los límites de cada uno de estos volúmenes, una al comienzo y otra al fondo. Entre ambas, espacios de conexión horizontal adyacentes a la línea de estructura intermedia que divide y jerarquiza los espacios entre ella. La luz de extremo a extremo llena ese espacio de intercambio. A cada lado se van sucediendo los accesos a los diferentes espacios diseñados a su uso: aulas, laboratorios, despachos, administraciones, bibliotecas, departamentos, etc. La conexión entre ambos bloques se realiza además de en el nivel de acceso, a través de un bloque de conexión, ligero y transparente que conecta las plantas entre sí y sirve de esparcimiento y desahogo.

En la coronación del bloque Norte se disponen los elementos generales de la instalación formando así una planta técnica. En ella se disponen otros elementos vinculados en su uso a los espacios abiertos de cubierta como el planetario y la emisora de radio.

La planta baja se dispone a una cota sobre rasante de +1,73 m. con la intención de crear un semisótano con un uso dominante de aparcamiento. Este aparcamiento será común para este edificio y su contiguo, el que ocupa la parcela B22. Se divide en tres partes: dos zonas correspondientes a los propios sótanos de cada uno de los edificios y una tercera zona de conexión entre ambos, situado en el espacio entre las dos construcciones y que acoge las rampas de salida y acceso del total del aparcamiento.

Asimismo, a lo largo del contorno del semisótano se dispone de una superficie ataluzada que convierte el aparcamiento en su espacio semiabierto conectado con el resto de la urbanización, de su ajardinamiento y de la luz.

The structure organises everything. The building becomes a container where the appropriate arrangement of stairwells and lift shafts, of toilets, service installations and of the bearing structure is the basis of a division of spaces that places everything within a hierarchy. Everything can be fitted in because its character is not based on its uses, which are mobile and temporary, but on its immovable, permanent elements: its character, its vertical and horizontal structures, its communications between spaces and levels.

The entrance block is differentiated by its volume and its material and displays itself as the anteroom, as the contact and reception zone. A pre-entrance area within it opens to the exterior and has steps and ramps that lead to the interior of the building, where a great concourse serves as a semi-exterior space. It is visible from the entire building and from it everything is visible. All the main connections to the rest of the building meet here.

The building takes shape from here, through two predominant volumes placed perpendicularly to the entrance block. The vertical communication shafts are fitted into the ends of each of these volumes, one at the beginning and the other at the end. Between the two ends, horizontal connection spaces lie alongside the line of the intermediate structure that divides the spaces between it and establishes their hierarchy. The light fills this interchange space from one end to the other. A succession of entrances on each side leads off to the various spaces, which are designed according to their use: classrooms, laboratories, offices, administrative offices, libraries, departments, etc. The two blocks are not only connected at the entrance level as a light, transparent connecting block also communicates the various stories and serves as a place to relax and be comfortable.

The general service installations are placed at the top of the North block, comprising a service level. Other elements that are related to the use of open roof spaces, such as the planetarium and the radio station, are also placed on this level.

The ground floor is placed at +1.73 m above ground level in order to create a semi-basement which is largely used for parking. This carpark is shared by this building and the neighbouring one in plot B22. It is divided into three parts: two are the basements of each of the two buildings while a third area, placed between the two constructions, connects the two and contains the entrance and exit ramps for the whole carpark.

A sloping bank surrounds the outline of the semi-basement, turning the carpark into a semi-open space that is connected to the rest of the development, to its landscaping and light.
