| El C.D.T.
es un centro para la gestión del turismo, tanto para la parte de
restauración y gastronomía como para la gestión hotelera. El de
Torrevieja se pensó en "ex_novo" entendiendo que podía ser un
lugar en el que hacen coincidir las nuevas tecnologías, la nueva
información y el nuevo paisaje interior: una manera de organizar estos
productos como parte real de la arquitectura.
El programa del C.D.T. es: Una estructura relativa al trabajo y a la investigación de la gastronomía y la gestión hotelera. Una estructura de relación social y representación empresarial de la Vega Baja. Una estructura vinculada al ocio y al tiempo libre. El proyecto del C.D.T. es: Arquitectura como espacio físico y contenedor de realidades, emociones físicas y espaciales. Interior como una propuesta para el desarrollo de un concepto diferente de las relaciones sociales basadas en la calidad del trabajo. Exterior como una propuesta de replantear las relaciones entre hombre_naturaleza entre artificial_natural. |
The CDT is a tourism management centre, both for the restaurant and gastronomy aspect and for the hotel management side. The Torrevieja CDT was conceived ‘from scratch’, in the understanding that it could be a place where new technologies, new information and a new interior landscape could be made to coincide: a way to organise these products as a real part of architecture. The brief for the CDT was: A structure related to work and research in gastronomy and hotel management. A structure for social contact and business entertaining in the Vega Baja district. A structure linked to leisure and free time. The CDT project is: Architecture as a physical space that contains realities, physical and spatial emotions. Interior as a proposal for developing a different concept of social relations based on the quality of the work. Exterior as a proposal for rethinking the relationships of mankind_nature, of artificial_natural. |
