El proyecto se inscribe en una parcela exigua de menos de 500 m2,
absolutamente constreñida por la edificación de las parcelas anexas,
ubicada entre el Hotel Sidi y el Camino al Faro. El suave desnivel de la
orografía permite cierta relación de la parcela con las vistas al mar.
La estrategia de proyecto consiste en diversificar los espacios, relacionándolos entre sí y con el propio límite de la parcela: casa patio. El vallado no se convierte en un accidente, sino en un argumento de proyecto, que integra el acceso en desnivel, el patio en sótano, arbolados, escaleras, etc. En planta baja la vivienda llega hasta los límites de la parcela, gracias ala fragmentación con que se tratan los contornos. La planta de dormitorios es un espacio de privacidad que se proyecta hacia la visión lejana del faro. Las cubiertas acogen un ámbito ciertamente privado pero completamente abierto a las vistas del mar. Ningún espacio es residual, cada uno asume un protagonismo que varía según momentos del día y épocas del año. Arbolado, mobiliario, mamparas, luminarias,... constituyen elementos de inestabilidad que transforman el espacio. |
The
project is for a tiny plot, less than 500 m2
and totally constricted by the buildings on the adjacent plots, located
between the Sidi Hotel and the road to the lighthouse. The gentle slope of
the ground allows the plot some views of the sea.
The strategy is to diversify the spaces, relating them to each other and to the edge of the plot: a patio house. The fence is not incidental but a main feature of the project, integrating the raised entrance, basement level patio, trees, stairs etc. The ground floor of the house reaches to the edges of the plot, fragmenting its immediate surroundings. The bedroom storey is a private space that looks out towards the distant view of the lighthouse. The roofs contain a decidedly private area that is nonetheless completely open to the views of the sea. No space is residual, each has a share of the limelight that varies with the time of day and the season of the year. Trees, furniture, screens, lights etc. are elements of instability that transform a space. |
